No way to hide photos?

The iPhone 6 is my first iPhone (great phone) so I'm trying to learn the ins and outs and I'm wondering if there is a way to hide certain pictures. I see that there is a hide feature but the pictures still show up in the albums. On my Note 3 I was able to hide photos that wouldn't show unless I hit the "Show Hidden Photos" button. Is there no equivalent on the iPhone?

You'd need to use another app where you can do that, like some sort of photo vault or something like that which you can find in the App Store.

I use keepsafe. Very stable and you need a passcode to open it

I have been using Video Safe 2 from Collect3, but I have read that it doesn't encrypt the files (if that is important to you).

OP, plenty of 3rd party apps. I used photovault for a while.
