no weather on notification center

hello all. I have an iphone 4 running ios 7.1.1 and since yesterday,when I pull down from top to check the weather in notification center,there. is no synopsis of the weather,just the date. I can not do a hard reset because my home button doesn't work. any ideas?

Simple, but, have you gone onto settings>notification centre and made sure that the 'today summary" is toggled on in the 'today view' section?

The weather is part of today summary.

my home button isn't working for almost two years,and I use assistive touch instead. since I can live with it,it's fine with me. plus,I don't see what my home button has to do with weather not appearing on NC.

Check to make sure that location services are enabled for the stock Weather app.
