No white iPhones 3GS for Ireland

I have spoken to many people from O2 Ireland and asked when the white 3GS would be available - I was told "Don't hold your breathe" they haven't ordered any in because last year they only sold 5% of the stock, I think it's rediculous that customers don't have a choice! Apple would be better off selling them sim free in Ireland as O2 haven't a clue how to market and sell a product..
