I have consulted several threads on how to use Swifi and Bootneuter. However, there are things that are not clear for me and I don't want to mess up my iPhone.
My iPhone has the following description:
Firmware 1.1.4
jailbroken, activated and unlocked w/ iLiberty+
IMEI 01 147200 6748667
Modem Firmware 04.04.05_G
Wi-Fi: Not connected, "unable to join the Network" or it states it can't connect to the server.
I can't download any application from the installer, including boot neuter because the Wi-Fi connection is not working. During my search in the forum, I was recommended to download a utility through iLiberty+ that reflashes EDGE/Wi-Fi/ and Bluetooth. I have used it twice after restoring with Firmwares 1.1.3 and 1.1.4 but I haven't recovered the Wi-Fi connection.
Another recommendation was to download a payload to be used with iLiberty+ as well. This payload contains mainly a BSD subsystem, Bootneuter, Swifi, and Term-vt100. To be honest I am a bit hesitant to use this payload because the tutorials I found were a bit fuzzy, but the forewarning if done incorrectly was utterly clear: irreversible damage.
I would deeply appreciate, if you could please tell me how to go about installying and applying that payload, and if possible how to get back my Wi-Fi connection.
