I called apple support (applecare) regarding the situation that started to occur when I was working away online. All of a sudden a webpage would not load.
opened a new window in safari-no luck
opened firefox-no luck
opened chrome-no luck
Wifi is being received by all other devices in the home and works normally on them.
Tried a power off with a power cord pull and restarted the iMac-no luck
Tried the other users profile on the iMac-no luck
After some more trouble shooting with applecare we hooked the netgear modem/router combo up via ethernet Cable-no luck
applecare tier2 tech concluded that airport card in iMac may be bad and scheduled appoint for tomorrow to take it into apple.
After letting the computer sit over night, the internet started to work again via the cable. Now what is interesting is that sometimes after the computer sits it will become non responsive to the cable but when I unplug the cable, the wifi starts to work again.
What up?
Looks like when I take it into apple store they may tell me they "can't duplicate the problem"
