I own the 42mm Sport Apple Watch (1.01)

While everything was fine on its first day of usage, things started to go wrong on day two. I noticed the following problems and believe, all of them might be related to one root cause: Apple Watch no longer recognizes it's on my wrist:

- Passcode unlock while on my wrist does not work. The Watch keeps locking.
- Stand time is consistently reported as zero, though I stand a lot.
- No notifications .

In time, I'm not convinced it's a hardware issue because I had two other watches(sold) that showed same problem.
I live in Brazil and here there's no support yet.
Thanks for any help.

Have you tried unpairing the watch? Sometimes unpair/pair does the trick to fix small glitches.

That's just on your wrist?
Do you have any tattoos on your wrist?
Have you tried your other wrist - or asked someone else to try out your watch?

No tattoos.
Yes, I tried with my girlfriend too and nothing! I have to turn off wrist detection to get notifications. The strange thing is that the two other watches I had showed same behaviour. Sensors seem dead. I'm very upset since there's no support yet here.

No, I'm a little hair person. Remember that watch did not function on my girlfriend wrist too.
If you both aren't exactly Wookies, hairy arms shouldn't be a problem. After all I've seen in the "Show off your watch" thread...
