iPhone XS No zoom on XS? How stupid is this?

I am gonna have to send it back becasue the icons are smaller than my 7. This is as dumb as a box of rocks. What is Apple thinking? Bigger screen but no zoom? Please tell me I am dreaming and will wake up to ZOOM!

I stopped using display zoom when I realized you can’t use the one handed keyboard with it enabled...
