So I think this might be the first year I've not seen any complaining about poor signal can I assume the iPhone 13's have bucked this trend and there's now nothing to complain about regarding signal quality?

Signal quality been actually better for me on the 13 Pro even compared to the 12 Pro

No signal issues for me, anywhere I’ve been I’ve had great reception.

No issues for me either - its been quite good....finally!!!!

Last years 12/pro used a year old 5G Qualcomm chip (X55) when a new one (X60) was available, 13/pro uses that new one. Not surprising people are happy.

Apple might’ve signed a deal but it looks like the relationship was bitter enough they aren’t willing to pay for the breaking edge chips. Looks like iPhones will get the Qualcomm modem from the year prior until Apple implements their in house modem.

Seems to be about the same with my 13 Pro as my old XS. And I had no complaints there, and have none now. 😊

Kind of linked to this question ... I have an issue with my iPhone 12 Pro.

I go to football matches which causes congestion with so many people accessing the local masts at the same time. Even with a strong signal I usually have issues trying to access apps. Sometimes if I turn airplane mode on and off that can get it to work ... but not every time.

I was at a game yesterday and had full bars for 5G. Nothing would work - yet the lad sat next to me on the same network (O2) was able to access videos etc on Instagram. He had a Samsung Galaxy - don't know exact model but it wasn't a new one.

I thought one of the benefits of 5G was to overcome this congestion issue but I'm seeing no difference compared to when I was using 4G.

Is it a problem with the iPhone antenna?

Would appreciate views/thoughts.
