The Mellow yellow tint the screen puts off on the iPhone 4s. Anybody returned?

Yip - I have. Looks disgusting beside my 4S. Contrast is weak too. Blacks are washed out. I'm an Apple fan but getting tired of this everytime. Had 3 iPad 1 before I got a decent screen. Passing on the 4S.

i got mine yesterday and at first it did look yellowish but after some use for a whole day it faded away. i even stopped by an apple store in the evening and saw that they weren't as yellow and mine was about the same. i think after some use it would settle.

I've used mine for a week and it is still very faded beside my iPhone 4. That coupled with the battery life has me sticking with my iPhone 4. If I keep it for much longer I won't be able to return and there are no replacements to be had right now.

I have a white 32 GB 4S and I don't get all these posts about yellow? I don't see it at all and I just don't get it? Do you all have super sensitive eyes or what?

Black 32gb 4s here, can someone explain to me what people mean by yellow tint? There is no difference between my 4 display and 4S display that I've noticed.

I guess it's less yellow and more warm. The contrasts are better on my 4, photos on the 4S look washed out, as do the grey texts. If I didn't have a 4, and if the battery life was better on the 4S, I'd probably keep it, but for me, not spending £219 and not committing for 24 months is the best option.

A personal thing I guess.

can u guys show me the picture of it? i don't know i have on my 4s or not

I don't know if mine is an exception, but my 4S (just arrived today) has a much 'cooler' display than my iPhone 4. It looks gorgeous!

If it's LESS yellow, it would be LESS warm. Yellow = warmer, White/blue = cooler.

Actually, change of heart here. It's growing on me and is actually easier to see outdoors. And I'd swear it's less yellow today. So it stays after all. I've taken a photo of the screens which I'll post later today.

Ya, can anyone post screenshots?

If you need someone to show a picture of the screen on their phone so you can determine if something is wrong with yours im guessing nothing is wrong with your phone if you can't tell by looking at your own damn phone. Geez

One of ours, my wife's 64GB, has a little bit of a yellow tint. My 32GB and my daughter's 32GB both look fine.. Maybe a slight blue tint, visible only when really looking for it with the brightness up... My wife is also having battery issues. Might be worth trying to exchange. I guess.

Oh, set up a 32GB 4S for my mother-in-law that also looks identical to mine... Gotta hate that luck of the draw on these things.

My screen was yellow compared to the iPhone 4, but now looks much better. In most cases it is the glue holding the glass and screen together and usually fades to clear in a few weeks.
