I use Garageband and Focusrite Scarlett Studio to record acoustic guitar/vocals with my microphone, and also bass using the extension and the audio interface (all with the same equipment, connected to Garageband)
When I listen to the recordings (either acoustic+vocals or bass) through my earphones, it all sounds perfectly fine, but when I play them out loud using my Mac speakers (I have a MacBook Air (13-inch, Early 2015), operating system OS X Yosemite), there is a lot of buzzing and static and noise through my Mac speakers which doesn't happen using earphones or headphones.
I have tried exporting the audio files using the option "Export projects at full loudness" (so it auto normalizes- I initially thought it was an issue with that), but when playing the exported audio file, the noise is still there- once again only with Mac speakers, not with my Apple earphones.
Does anyone else have this problem or a similar one? Is it an issue with my Mac speakers, or maybe the extension connecting my audio interface to Garageband? Any tips or insight would be appreciated.
