Hi, i have a early 2008 MBP. Recently i've noticed a weird sound which occurs when i scroll down the page in Safari. Anyone met this before? It is not too loud or irritating, but it's definitely not supposed to be.

Hi,
I too just noticed this kind of weird sound when I scroll the page up/down in Firefox in early 2008 MBP. What did you do for this issue ? I was thinking of taking this down to the Genius Bar at the Apple Store.

after researching this i couldnt find a specific cause. i found ppl saying that it was video card noise all the way to put WD-40 on you screen. so i would say your best be is to bring it into the apple store and demonstrate it for them. let them deal with the mysterious squeaking scroll noise.
