Hi.

I have done a clean install of 10.7.2.

It looks really really good compared to 10.7.0. For me, the major problems have been fix.

But I am wondering a thing.

I have done a clean install formatting the drive, and now I think that the HD is a bit noisy than before.

It is possible? What can you think? Can it be fixed without formatting again?

PD: The indexation has just been done.

Might help if we knew what kind of system it was and when the fans rev up.

It isn't fan noise, it¡s the noise when it read/writes in the HD. The typical "scratch" noise.

It seems your hard drive is physically damaged. Get it repaired as soon as possible because it could generate bad sector there.
