Noisy stand on 27in iMac

anyone with the new 27 imac notice when you move the screen the stand isnt smooth and makes some noise ?

What kind of sound does it make? A sort of grinding noise? If yes, mine does that too. No worries, most of them do that. Besides, who moves their iMac up and down all the time, right?

It's also worth noting that the noise also has to do with the surface of your desk. If it is smooth it will just creak along. Rough and it might sound a bit ugly.

My desk is totally smooth.. I can't really see what it has to do with this.. It's actually where the screen meets the stand internally. I will go have a look in the mac shop and see if it's inherent with them.. I'm not too bothered but u wouldn't expect it really after spending 2grand on computer or.. Lol
