Nokia N8 - The "iPod Nano" Phone

This is the Nokia N8 and everytime I see it it reminds me of how cool the iPhone would have been if it had the anodized aluminum case with different colors just like the iPod Nano.

I'm starting to digg the looks of this phone and it has an AMOLED screen. I'm pretty sure the Symbian 3 will let it down but i think the hardware is just damn beautiful. According to Engadget the phone is very light and ergonomic.

Ohh and 12MP camera and 720p recording. Put a iphone OS in this thing and i will be sold...

Cmon Apple stop the black and white era of plastic crapp and give us something "appealing"...

Why?

Symbian is much more powerful than the iPhoneOS. Lighter, much more optimized and functionally way ahead, you can't even use bluetooth properly with the iPhone, it does not have a built in SIP support. Symbian just needs a rework of the UI and that's gonna come with Symbian 4, I really like the redesign in S^4.

Oh well i wasn't aware of that. I was talking abou the symbian used in the n97. I hope Symbian gets as competitive as Android and the iphone OS and make Apple and Google work harder on the premium smartphone segment. If symbian 3 turns out to be competitive with the iphone and android id highly consider this device.

I gotta say, the one thing you can't beat nokia/symbian with is the built in sip.

Also, i'm loving the penta-band 3G on this N8 (850/900/1700/1900/2100). I'd love to see 1700 added to the iPhone so we can use it on other carriers.

Highly doubt Apple is going to do that unless the iPhone is going to other carriers besides AT&T this year.

Definitely.. once they decide to sell through tmobile then we'll most likely see 1700 added.
