I am the administrator of an OSX machine, and I want some other users to be able to change the startup disk to the mac os9 system folder, without giving them full administrator access.

For a normal user, the other options in the startup disk control panel are greyed out.

Is this possible?

cheers

i ran into this problem too. i couldn't find a workaround. i think it's a dumb limitation.

gotta be an admin to set up network prefs, too. so even if they were fine in osx, they couldn't hook into a network w/o your help.
