iPod touch Non-apple earbuds with remote - need recommendations

I currently have Mee Electronics M2p earbuds. They work great and sound great with all my devices (ipad/macbook pro/3rd gen ipod touch). Ever since I got my 4th gen however, they don't work as a remote. I also tried on a new nano and iphone 4 and it works fine. So I suspect it is due to the curved edge of the ipod touch.

Can anyone offer any recommendations for comparable earbuds with remote? I like the zagg smartbuds, but I haven't tried them and don't want the same problem.

It does not have a remote but comes with a mic which works with the iPod touch 4

If you're going high quality, go for the Bose MiE2i headphones. That's what I'm using at the moment, and they are fantastic.

I just got a pair of Etymotic hf3s on eBay for $120. Really really nice. Outstanding sound + nice remote.
