i'm looking into buying the camera connection kit for the iPad but $29 on apple.com is just a but too overpriced. I've seen some similar ones on amazon and across the internet but i'm skeptical of how they preform. For example, one of the ipad usb connectors stated that if you plugged in a usb keyboard, it would work, but when plugged in the ipad just says, not supported.

just wondering if other people have had some reviews they'd like to share.

btw, the non-apple camera kits run from $6-$15

There is a built-in chip in the USB connectors. If you are getting something that is not directly from Apple or licensed by Apple, the connection kit may not work. Good luck
