So at the moment I have an Airport Extreme (current gen) and and Airport Express (current gen). I got the Express cause using Airplay from my Mac to my Yamaha receiver would give me choppy audio. But the Express has been known to do the same thing even though it, the Mac and receiver are all in the same room. The Extreme is in the living room with the cable modem and my Mac and receiver are in the bedroom top left (see floor plan). I'm using that room as my "man cave" so my surround sound is in there. Is there a wifi router which would give me a stronger signal for Airplay use? It would be nice to sit on the couch in my "man cave" with my Mac and play music wirelessly. Bluetooth on my Yamaha receiver is only v2.1 +EDR and it's a 2016 model. My Mac and iPhone are BT4.0.
