I updated one atv4 from tvOS 11 and the other from tvOS 12, had to pull them out of storage.

but I've been updating pretty much all my devices across the board recently, and I've been reading tvOS 13 like a large TV+ advert.

Which I would've somewhat expected, but I hope it doesn't destroy the overall experience. Then again, I only used my tv for HBO go, Netflix, and airplay but ...

its too late now, but it will still probably be a bit before I hook them up and tinker with tvOS 13 and see how they compare to using tv in the past.

anyways just curious what your experience has been / if there have been any other benefits aside from just being able to say you're on the latest and greatest,

thanks

The TV App is the 'large advert' - for TV+, other channels and things to rent or buy. If don't use it, tvOs 13 is fine. If you make two configuration changes, v13.3 will behave a lot like v12.

1) Set HomeScreen:TopShelf to 'Up Next'
2) Set Remotes:Home Button to 'Home Screen'
