Does anyone know of a trackpad that uses usb for communication. At work we are not allowed to use BlueTooth for security reasons (the BlueTooth hardware is removed from the computers), but I love my trackpad. So I would like to get one that uses USB for communication. Unfortunately, I have not been able to find one. Does anyone know of one? Thanks.

If I am not mistaken, there is a accessory to the Apple Magic Trackpad that powers it through USB. Sadly, I don't remember the name or where I saw that device...
Good luck.

Thanks for the reply. I've seen a number of accessories for the Apple trackpad that provide power via usb. But, these only provide power. I need a trackpad that uses usb for data communication.

Wacom's Bamboo Touch series is exactly what you're looking for. They discontinued them, but you can probably find them on Amazon or eBay. I don,t think the current Bamboo line is touch-friendly.
