I have things like non-breaking spaces and non-breaking hyphens assigned to shortcuts so that I can easily insert them into my documents when I have phrases that I want to keep all together on one line.

Is there any equivalent for line returns, some sort of non-breaking line return that says multiple lines or paragraphs need to be kept together on a single page? Obviously I can manually insert a page break when I find the break occurs in the wrong spot, but I'm looking for something more automatic.

If it helps, I can get more specific:

1 - I'm using the new version of Pages.
2 - I'm writing questions and answers. Each has its own style assigned - I'd like to ensure that the answer to a question occurs on the same page.

Vaguely related thing I just found:

holding shift when you press return will produce a different invisible character. Return alone produces a paragraph marker while holding shift when you press return produces some kind of invisible arrow character. The arrow character doesn't follow the same spacing rules as the paragraph marker - might be useful somehow with this.
