Non flashed MSI 5850 in a Mac Pro 1.1

Hi,

I've recently stuck a MSI Fozr II 5850 non flashed version in my mac pro 1.1 running Tiamos 10.9.1 and it's working really well, apart from the gpu fan seems to be running a little higher than usual and it still runs when the machine is put to sleep.

'About this Mac' shows the card as a ATI Radeon HD 5000.

Is there any thing I can do about this?
