Hello everyone. So i have an idea for a service organization i was looking to start. I realized that for how small it was, i didn't think it was worth the hassle of starting then filing for tax exempt status. But i found a local temple who is willing to sponsor it and host the program but still let me be in charge. So my question is
If i enter into a fiscal sponsorship(from what i read it was called) would i still need to file a 501(c)(3)?
And if so how does that paperwork process work?
If none of that is necessary am i aloud to collect donations for the project under its name?

Thanks in advance with any help! I'm new to this!
