I'm not really a fan of the Mouse which comes with all macs, i feel it has too few buttons which limits the speed of browsing around.
However I'm currently using a Logitech mouse with two extra buttons by the thumb. I can only assign these buttons tasks when the mac mouse is plugged in as it has its own option sets within the config window, whereas the other mouse just has options like double click speed etc. The options also only allow two extra buttons other than the left and right click to be assigned, those being the scroll click and one of the buttons by my thumb, the other button is not used at all.
I was wondering if there's any software available which i can use to allow me to use the extra button on my mouse. Or assign buttons tasks when the mac mouse isn't present.
Any help would be great
Thanks
-Gary
