non-Retina MBPro 2012 craphic cards switching problem
Hi guys!

I cannot switch to Intel HD 400... always GPU GT 650 only

No metter how I try to set it in Preferences, it always displays in Info Graphics/Monitors that my GT 650 1 Gb is always on...

Is there a way to force turn Intel HD 400 512Mb on to see if it's even work and not dead?

System: Mountain Lion 10.8 install over Lion (not clean install), all last updates of everything includes nividia CUDA drivers.

I have "Automatic switch graphic cards ON" and still if I just turn my mac it always GT 650, even if NO APP are autostaring and no app is on.

Thanx in advance

Try gfxCardStatus. That should let you force your HD 4000 on.

I love it on my late 2008 15" unibody, lets me switch between 9400m and 9600m without logging out (logging out isn't required with newer MBPs.)

SWEET!!

To tell you the truth I can say that new non-retina MBP 2012 with all those new Lions and Mountains is just peace of ****.

I have 2010 MBP and it is much more clean, stable and cool to work with...

Hope I cound figure out the new one soon
