Hi guys and girls
If I want to order new non-retina MBP I have to pay extra 1000$ for them to throw away default 750gb HDD and insert Samsung 830 SSD 512gb (I suppose that's what they will install at best)
I just wandered is there any logic to this price?
Or maybe I don't know something?
Samsung 830 512gb is around 850$, right?
So it's not only you pay them extra 250$ just to put it inside, but they also toss away HDD which have it's little price in and of itself too..
So I will basically pay them around 350$ just to put it inside and set up clean Lion OS?
I'm not very tech-savy and I don't like to mess with harware, but I guess installing Samsung 830 myself is not a rocket science, right?
On the other hand, whose 350$ is not that big of an issue for me.
Any opinions on this?
Do I understand Apple's price justification correctly?
