non song ringtones~!

I will never not ever have a song as my ringtone. What are my options beyond what comes on the iphone? I like organic noises or sci fi stuff just no songs please. Does anyone have this need and know how to address it???

Doesn't iTunes sell sound effect compilations? Seems like you might be able to create a ringtone from that if supported.

They do, and they even have some suitable "ringing phone" sounds... but they're not "ringtonable." Go figure.

That's a bummer... not into song "ringtones" here either. There is a post here from a guy who made some great ones but off course those went bye bye with 1.1.1. I'm sure an update to the iphone ringtone app will come soon...

I think apple should come out with some sort of iPhone section in iTunes with anything and everything you would want to buy for your phone. This could include games, ringtone (of any kind), and third party apps approved by apple.

haha, I was trying to find some ring-tone sounds yesterday I couldn't as-well.
