I've been a long time reader of the forums and find the advice of fellow Mac users most valuable.
Last year I bought the Cinema display 27" to complement my late 2010 MBP amongst a major upgrade/apple spree all around, getting both a RAM upgrade and ipad to complete the set up.
I live in a cramped London flat and space is at a premium, and whilst I could have got a Dell U2711 display that had HDMI, I just couldn't go non apple.
I've included a pic for you to see, but I have my PS3 on there too and am desperate to get it hooked up, but am really struggling to make sense of the options/differences between the PS3+iMac threads and the specific Cinema display threads.
Basically, as I understand, there are three main options available to me, to get either the Belkin AV360, the Kanex XD, or the Atlona adapter.
They are all pricey adapters but from what I have read and researched, most of the issues seems to be the capping of resolution due to the iMac's native resolution. What I can't seem to find is what the higher resolution of the ACD means, and what adapter can do what.
Has anyone specifically used one of these adapters with the ACD and what results have they got?
I really have endeavoured to search through the forums to avoid posting the same thing, but as I said before most posts seem to refer to the iMac.
I'm weighing up whether to go for one of these or is there a cheap decent 1080p TV out there instead!
