iPad Non-US iPad on Verizon

Hey guys,
i noticed the cellular iPad Mini and 4th Generation iPad sold in the UK have the same model number as as the Sprint and Verizon iPad. Do you guys know if I got a sim card from Verizon would it actually work or would the iPad have to have been provisioned to work?

You would have to sign up with Verizon to use their network. You could do a pre paid plan from them. SIM card would not work for Verizon. U could use that on AT&T network but it would only be 3g network not lte or 4g
