Can those that got the AVP but doesn't have their regular Apple ID set to USA region share what works and what doesn't?

Assume you have created another Apple ID for the US region, I would assume that it would work with your other devices if they remained on your default ones? And if you did decide to change your ID over to the US region, you might have lost things from the previous store? I would assume your movies or even subscriptions don't move over. No more family sharing?

I would appreciate if you can share your experience of how you have tried to make the AVP work if your default ID was not set to the US. Depending on your experience I might consider working more on my patience ..... especially when this summer I intend to go to the US.

CANADIAN

I can log into my Canadian Apple ID and have access to:
- Apple Music, Movies/TV shows I previously purchased or purchase on another device, Podcasts, Notes, Files, Photos, Mindfulness, etc. all work perfectly.
- Can't access any AppleTV content or App Store (those require a US Apple ID)
- No ability to set language or measurements (everything is in Imperial measurements)
- No ability to watch 3D movies in Movies/TV (e.g., Super Mario)

Buuuut...
If you have a US Apple ID you can download apps, and then if you switch back to your non-US ID you can use those apps and have all your normal Apple ID content working (E.g., Log in with US Apple ID, download Disney+ from US App Store, Log out and into my Canadian Apple ID, Use Disney+ with my Canadian Login Credentials).
