Notch notch notch notch notch

Starting to see some not-so calm & relaxed reactions re: iPhone 8 notches. Must be a full moon, as to snub what looks to be a great bezel-free (don't get technical) phone just because of how a couple of extra practical areas of the screen are coloured/used, can only tell me people are not thinking straight, or are just plain loco. :D

So, in order to catch people in this arms-in-the-air-given-up-on-the-world mental state, i'm interested in whether the notches are a deal breaker?
#firstworldproblems ;)

I can see it being something perhaps a little strange to see at first but will no doubt get used to it. And if I really don't like it, that's what 14 day returns are for.

Not at all, it might not be "pretty" but it's very noticeable lol. I will even get the Silver model to make it even more noticeable.

I could care less. Why worry about something we are not even sure about. Even if so, it is not a issue.

Apple can not make all happy and some will be "displeased" not matter what.

Yeah, as I stated in the other thread, a total deal breaker for me if it looks like we've seen. It looks just awful and would be a stupid design decision IMO. It really makes no sense and completely breaks the flow of the top of the phone. It simply can't be their final design. I don't know how a design team would come to this conclusion. I'm betting Apple is simply trolling us and that notch will not be there.

The "Notch" Makes zero difference to me. I'm not going to base my purchase simply off a notch. There are far more functions and capabilities of this new iPhone I'm interested that won't disapprove of my purchase based over one little physical feature.

And neither is their Goal
Remember Once Steve Jobs Said :-

“It's really hard to design products by focus groups. A lot of times, people don't know what they want until you show it to them.”

Notch is an option you can hide, probably. I'm wondering if this is going to be a challenge for 3rd party apps to hide it?

The thing stands out.
