none of your preferred networks available

Hello I just installed an airport extreme for my network which was previously run by linksys. I have a mbp running lion and a pc win7 . the issue i am having is after my mac sleeps i get "none of your preferred networks are available" screen and my network is listed right on top so i have to click on it and then click join. I never had to do this when i was wireless through my link sys is this a AE thing or did i set something up wrong? any suggestions will be helpful thanks

OMG.

Your favorite networks are determined by the routers that you used in the past. If you replace one of those routers, then the favorite network associated with that router will no longer exist.
