Noob help required with SSD.

Just ordered a 512gb Crucial M4 SSD to put in my late 2011 15"MBP
I use time machine with an external 1TB HDD which I have partitioned to 500gb each so I got the Time Machine on 1 half and the other is 500gb of general storage, films etc.

So how do I tomorrow when my SSD arrives transfer all my stuff on to the SSD when I put it in the machine and turn it on for the first time using this Time Machine back up??? Does that have OS X lion on it or what. I'm really not to sure.

Install lion and then restore from time machine!

Will it be obvious how to install Lion as I have no disk. I have seen before somewhere it saying about an internet download???
