NOOB HELP with Widgets

I have been trying very hard to remove some widgets in my dashboard. I have duplicates and some triplicates of certain widgts like world time. Please help me. thanks in advance.

Hold down option and place your cursor over the offending widget, a little "x" should appear, click it and the widget will zoom away.

Or, click the little "+" on the bottom left hand conner, the little widget browser will now pop up.
Now all of your widgets have little "x"s next to them.

When you see the widgets in Dashboard, there is a plus sign on the bottom left of your screen. When you click it, an "X" will appear on all the widgets on your desktop and if you click it, they'll disappear.

There's probably a shortcut, but I'm not aware of it...
