NOOB here about voip (fring).. need help please

okay, so i have an account w/ SIP.

so when i call a place..is it limited?
can i just call w/ in the US?
i made my SIP account when Fring cameout, and i dont remember paying for anything or giving credit or bank info...

anyhow, can you give a lil more info of using SIP in fring
