Guys,

Apologies for the noobish-ness of this Question. Just bought my First MBP, Well first Mac ever ha ha ha. Looking at getting the Momentus XT straight from the off. If I replace the HDD will this void my warranty.

From what I've heard in the forum, no, it won't void your warranty, I've already replaced it with Hitachi 7K500, from 5400RPM to 7200RPM you'll notice a difference in booting and application loading. I am also thinking getting a momentus XT, but saw many complains regarding it's spin up / spin down issue, I am scared.

Interesting, I heard some good reviews for it. Might have to do some more shopping around. Cheers.
