When watching you tube vids and reading comics on my SR blackbook I always get the screen dimming (most likely to conserve battery power). This is annoying for me when reading a text heavy page etc. so how do you turn it off ?

Thanks in advance

Uncheck the box that says "Automatically reduce the brightness..." on that page that he told you to navigate to. :)

i have my macbook pro core duo set to never sleep, the display to turn off after 30 mins and in options "automatically reduce brightness of display" is unchecked and it never dims. this is on AC power and when on battery power i have it set to sleep and the display to sleep after a certain amount of time and the same option unchecked and it still never dims.

Thanks for this. I will give it a try!
