Noob question regarding exchanging iPhone

So I bought a 5c online through Verizon, I'm still within my return window so I preordered a iphone6. Verizon says it won't ship until 11/21 at the latest but I checked the closest Apple Store near me and they have one in stock. Can I exchange the 5c for a iPhone6 at the Apple Store even though it was purchased online through Verizon? Thanks for the help!

Unfortunately No, You will have to return the 5C at the Verizon store since you got it through Verizon. There is no way out of this I believe.
