Hey all

I'm considering getting one or two HomePods to dot around the house. The Apple website claims that it can provide 'personalised experiences' for upto 6 people.

Does this mean that I can send an iMessage and it will know who I am and which iPhone to use? Similarly, can my kids and wife do this too?

Can the wife play music without affecting my listening history (I don't want to be recommended 80s music!), and via verse?

I guess, is the experience really personal to you?

Cheers in advance

Yes to all. It uses voice recognition to accomplish this. I can call my wife from the HomePod even while she is in the house on the same Wi-Fi network. Often times, Siri will respond with the very annoying “who is speaking?” so you know it works lol.
