I just received my new macbook pro, and I am trying to install my printer. But the disc drive won't take the installation disc. Is there a certain way to put a cd into the disc drive?

Is the driver available for download?
And what do you mean, your MBP will not take the CD?

When I push in the cd, the drive doesn't take it. I put it in myself past halfway and the laptop still won't take it in.

How do I know if the driver is available for download?

As said before, push it in completely, if it is a regular sized CD (12mm).

Find out what exact model you have (listed on the printer and on the package and on the receipt and on the manual) and do a www search using the model + "manual" as search terms, or go to the manufacturer's support page.

You guys were right, just had to push it a little farther. Thanks for your help and sorry for wasting your time!
