Nooby audio question (rMBP)

I would like to live stream with the Macbook Pro Retina, and am looking for ways to collect the audio from both the game, and player voices including my own. I was told I would need to use an audio card connecting with USB to do this, and I may be ordering the Traktor Audio 6 soon. Would a program like Wirecast recognize this, and be usable for this purpose?
