normal flash playback

hey, when I watch flash, sometimes the video will stop for like half a second and continue..this is quite annoying...is it normal? is it because mac doesn't support flash that well?? Or am I doing something wrong? What do you use for flash playback?? the problem is annoying

I have a peryn macbook pro, early 2008 (powerbook look)..
