Is it normal for my phone to heat up to an uncomfortable 39.4 degrees Celsius (102.92 degrees Fahrenheit) when listening to music wearing headphones while browsing news articles and reading through the Reddit app?

Anytime you’re using your iPhone for media-based tasks, watching videos or intensive applications, the iPhone will heat up. If you ever receive a message on your iPhone stating that your iPhone is becoming hot, then it’s an issue.

Are you using your phone in direct sunlight? That seems high for what you are listing.

Watching videos will make my 6s heat up pretty quick. Also, I have a fairly dark case on mine and if I happen to be in the sunlight it can heat up very quick.
