I used iVolume but I still have MP3 CDs where I have to change the volume between tracks because it can be so different. Anyone have some tips? Perhaps if I set them all "low" it would help, like below 90db
 
I have had good luck using the older application macmp3gain, at the URL below.

It is working fine, both on my 10.6.4 SL system and a Leopard system too.
Of course this won't work on your CDs as the files cannot be altered, so you would have to copy the files to the HD, process them and then rewrite a CD with the processed files. :eek: That is a lot of time consuming work!
 
Well I am only trying to fix CDs that I create from iTunes in MP3 format for playback in my car. While I can use my iPod directly in the car I prefer not to.
