Yep, official reason, but not the real reason.
I wish they stopped North Korea instead, but hey, that would have involved a real war with an enemy whom actually owns a real WMD, and Bush wouldn't want that, would he?

The landscape in N.korea is barren. All the trees have been cut down because there is no energy. 
N.Korea has no energy and they use the only nuclear rods they could gather and turn them into a weapon.

No surprise that N.Korea decided to advertise.
North Korea would not have been invaded because they only have people, who at some point (if they go the Chinese way) will become consumers of western goods.
They probably wouldn't be encouraged to do that if they were invaded and thousands of innocent civilians died.
They must be real pleased they don't have any oil but do have the bomb.
