Hi guys,
im thinking about virus on a Mac (Leopard).

Its said that there are no virus (viruses in plural?) on a Mac. Maybe real or not but there are few antivirus for ma and just for more security i want to install one to my mac.

What do you think?
Norton Antivirus 11 OR VirusBarrier X5

Its really important to have a antivirus?

By the way... What do you think of firewall??? Again... its really important have good security and protect your browsing and files?

Thanks

Both will just mess up your system more than they will help. You don't need one.

Keep your firewall turned on, that's always a smart idea.

Norton Antivirus 11

that's actually a virus itself for the mac... Don't install that

As member has said, they will tend to give you more problems than resolve on your mac.. Just keep your firewire up and that's it.
