Well, at least temporarily. In an article on CNN about the Iceland volcano disrupting air travel:
The prime minister of Norway was among those stranded by the closure of European airspace.
Jens Stoltenberg, who was in New York for President Barack Obama's nuclear summit, is running the Norwegian government from the United States via his new iPad, his press secretary Sindre Fossum Beyer said.
Apple should use that on their iPad adverts

I read this article before I saw the thread, but still the image of a group of politicians fleeing a menacing iPad still got into my head :eek:
 
I just saw a similar article in Der Spiegel.

Apple would never be able to afford this kind of media exposure and we all know that something when banned (like by the Israelis), only increases its appeal. All in all, I'd say the iPad is going to be a resounding success!
