I received mine in the mail today. Great concept, decent protection and good quality, but not a fan of a case with raised edges. Definitely not worth $29. Glad I got mine for free :) Naked iPhone all the way. How could you even cover just the edges of the beautiful iPhone 4? I carried my 3GS in the Seidio spring clip holster. Waiting for Seidio to release the holster for the iPhone 4.

Okay?

Wow. Thanks for sharing.

Sell it to me then. :) I'm sure I'll get it from you quicker than I can get it from Apple.

I agree. I just don't like the feeling of a raised edge on the front. I took my bumper off after a day. If i don't end up selling it to my bro, ill throw it up here for a bit less than Apple's price.

I think im just going to put a clear skin on the back. Any suggestions?

i'm still getting one this week (when they finally come in) but I think I like my Candyshell more. I'll see how they both fair. They should be getting Black, Blue, Orange, and Green. That's what the mgr told me...we'll see.

I was a case addict with my 3G/3GS, the bumper IMO is the best most refined case I've felt.

I agree the case is great, its so minimal and offers side protection.

I totally agree. It adds a bit of grip, & keeps you slightly protected, without covering up the amazing back. I love my green one so far!

As for people who are considering to sell - put it up on eBay. They're going for $40-60. I sold my black one & got $45.

I got one from Apple, but my car charger won't fit. So, I sold it on ebay for almost twice what I paid for it from Apple. Not a bad #fail.

O.K, I'm not tight as I've just forked out £600 for the IP4 (due to be shipped 14th July). But £30.29 delivered from Apple for 1 !!!

Had a switcheasy capsule neo for my 3gs which I wasn't crazy about, and I do kind of like the look of the bumper, but for £30.29.......... ! Hmmmmm

but not a fan of a case with raised edges.
TBH; the raised bits are a feature; the whole point of a bumper is to be a point of first impact, so this is going to protect the screen (and back).

That some people don't like this does produce the possibility of some company just doing a stretchy rubber band for just the sides or something (or perhaps clipped onto the first edge of the metal, not over the screen)

A stretchy rubber band or something for the sides would be right up my alley. In the end, I still like to carry my iPhone naked in a spring clip holster. Maybe slap a clea-coat skin on it.
