Not able to print .pdf file (my ticket to Paris:)

Hello all,

I'd like to ask you for some guidance or hints on why I am not able to print my .pdf file.
Firstly, I had the 8.1 ...adobe reader version. However when I tried to sent pdf file to print, adobe reader would quit immediately. Secondly, I deleted the old one and reinstalled adobe reader 9.1.3 (my mac has mac os 10.5.8) and still I am not able to print the .pdf file but this time adobe reader doesn't quit, I keep getting the message that the document could not be printed. What problem could this be?
