I’m on iOS26 (non-beta) and have APP2 on newest firmware (8A356) but I’m not able to enable ANC when wearing one Airpod. Setting is on to enable this.

I have tried disconnecting and reconnecting, forgetting and re-pairing, tried connecting to my iPad, tried each side, holding Airpod stem to change sound mode, tried to manual change mode in iPhone settings, and not able to get it to work.

Anyone else having this issue?

in another post about this, I saw someone said they toggled it off and back on and that got it working.

it's a good thing to try you update to a new OS, it seems that sometimes the indicator and the state of the feature in the background get out of sync.

I tried flipping the switch multiple times even disconnecting at different times.

But I just flipped it off, restarted phone, then flipped it back on and now it’s working!
